Lemon Chicken

Jazz up chicken with this tasty number!

Serves 4


2 garlic cloves

tsp grated ginger

1/4 tsp turmeric

tb honey

1 lemon – (zest + juice) + extra sliced lemon

tb chilli sauce

2 tb soy sauce

4-6 chicken thighs

spring onions and sesame seeds to serve


  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, then add chicken to marinate for at least 20 minutes
  2. Place chicken into a baking dish and roast for 45 min – 1 hr on 200°C, basting with juices and adding sliced lemon after 25 mins
  3. Scatter spring onion and sesame seeds over and serve with vegetables/potato/rice etc
