Slow-cooked Beef in Red Wine

  

Ingredients:

  • Beef Chuck Steak (500-600g)
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic
  • 1 Can of Diced Tomatoes
  • 2 Cups Beef Stock
  • 1 Cup Red Wine
  • 3 Celery Stalks
  • 2 Carrots
  • 1/2 Cauliflower
  • Thyme to season
  • Flour to sear 

  

1. Coat steak in small amount of flour, then fry it quickly to seal the meat.

2. Cook onion and garlic until soft

3. Combine the steak, onions and garlic with the remaining ingredients into a slow cooker. Cook for 4 hrs.

  

Will make a big pot so freeze some in small portioned containers
