Basic Cauliflower Dahl



  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 a cauliflower
  • 1 capsican
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1-2 tsp cumin
  • 1-2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1-2 tsp ground tumeric
  • chilli powder to taste
  • 1 cup of brown lentils
  • 3 cups of stock 
  • Natural youghurt to taste 



Step One:

Cook down finely sliced onions until translucent. Add garlic and spices and fry until fragrant. 

Step Two:

Add 3 cups of stock and 1 can of lentils to pan. Scrape the bottom of the pan to clean anything that has stuck. 

Step Three:

Add in chopped veggies to the pan and bring to a simmer.

Step Four:

Cook until veggies are soft. You can serve with chopped coriander and youghurt.
